This is a charming old-fashioned New England Inn that I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area. The rooms were very pleasant and comfortable to stay in while also being pretty reasonably priced. A hot breakfast cooked to order is included in the room rate that far exceeds the typical continental breakfast you find in most hotels. The quality of the breakfast is equivalent to what you would expect in any nice breakfast restaurant so I feel it really adds to the value of the price you are paying in the room. We ate dinner in the tavern the night we stayed and the food and service were excellent. The only complaint was that the food took a long time to come out of the kitchen because they were very busy that night. Overall we were very happy with our stay and we wouldn't hesitate to book a room here again if we are ever in the area.
We went today, not the first time, to meet our friend for drinks and food. We like to sit at the bar. Jen was tending bar. The service was exceptional and she is friendly and very entertaining. The lobster roll and prime rib sandwich were to die for! Can't wait to return.
Went for dinner, just blown away! When you walk in, it is very inviting and welcoming. The food was very delicious and our waitress was very friendly. The owner of the Inn, she let us look around and check out 2 rooms that weren't occupied. Can't wait to have dinner there again and bring some family and friends along !
Fresh salads , homemade food , you won’t find anything like this quality around town ! Well worth the prices . We look forward to trying more menu items in the future . The chicken was juicy and cooked to perfection . Even the salad dressing was one of a kind (we ordered the blue cheese) . 10/10! You can tell that the owners and staff put their love into the menu! Even if you don’t stay , the food in itself is worth ordering !
I have been there twice for lunch. So Yummy! Both times I got the Reuben, it’s made with home cooked tender corn beef. My friends loved their lunch choices as well. We had brunch there not long ago, it was delicious too! I highly recommend checking out. I haven’t had dinner there yet. I’m more of a big lunch person and skip dinner.
